To kick off Perennial's Marathon May, myself and a small group of colleagues from the office are taking on a walking marathon through the Surrey Downs, taking in the sights of Box Hill, Holmsbury Hill and Leith Hill and all the bits in between.

Perennial is the UK’s only charity dedicated to helping everyone who works in horticulture, and their families, when times get tough and is often described as a lifeline by the people we help.

Any donations would be grateful appreciated as the cost of living crisis is hitting those who work with plants, trees, flowers and grass particularly hard and this year will feel like a marathon to many.
