Story
In march of 2026, I will be participating in the Bath half marathon for Bipolar UK. My objective is to raise a minimum of £350 to for this charity.
I was formally diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2020, though I had been living with the condition for many years beforehand.
I am lucky to say that the interventions & support throughout the years has helped me manage my disorder. However, the process hasn’t been easy, as access to support is limited. Having experienced first hand the difficulties of living with this condition as well as seeing the effects it has on those around me, I know how vital it is to recieve effective support.
While awareness around mental health is growing, the impact bipolar has on the individual & those in their lives is commonly misunderstood. Bipolar UK provides a wealth of information to raise more accurate awareness of the disorder as well as providing support to those who need it.
Any donations no matter how small would mean so much to me!
