Story
This time last year, running was completely new to me, something I never thought I’d do, let alone enjoy. But over the past year, after many many runs I’ve ended up here, training for my first marathon.
Now, I’m taking on the Richmond RUNFEST Marathon to raise money for Serendip Children’s Home, a charity that provides safety, care, and education to vulnerable children in Sri Lanka. Every mile is to help create brighter futures, better opportunities, and loving environments where children can thrive.
During my uni days, I raised money for Serendip and saw firsthand how that support led to incredible, lasting change in the lives of so many children. Now, I want to do it again, to help give even more young people the chance at a better future.
I’ve spent almost a year building up to this moment, and I’m proud to be running for such an incredible cause. Any support, or donations mean the world. 💛
