For one time only!

For more than 80 years, Aberdeen Citizens Advice Bureau has dealt for free with every question the people of the city bring - from imminent eviction to pregnant pets, it brings clarity and eases anxiety for any situation.

For the last two and a half years, I’ve been blessed to work there. I’ve had the time of my life, and met so many wonderful people. But our funding’s been drastically cut and this may be the last month for me.

I’m praying for a miracle, but if I must go, I want to go out with a bang. So I’ve signed up to get this slow and entirely non-aerodynamic self round the 9km and 600-foot ascent of the 10th official Mormond Hill Run on August 16th.

I’m not promising to run. I’m promising to get round. Secretly, I’m also hoping not to be completely last, but we’ll see!
