Can you keep your fear at bay for One YMCA? Take on a thrilling abseil while raising money for One YMCA on Saturday 10 June 2023, as you descend the side of Atria shopping centre in Watford.

Story

As part of my role in Watford as Deputy Mayor, Portfolio Holder for Community, and Councillor for Central Ward, as well as being a passionate advocate for social welfare, I am fundraising for One YMCA by taking part in their Abseil Challenge.

The charity exists to change and save lives across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

They support 120,000 per year to escape homelessness, flee domestic abuse relationships, access independent sexual violence advisors, get mental health support through Signposts counselling, and overcome barriers in their lives on their journey to independence.
