The Gwent IR Unit and Mermaid Medical are proud to be joining forces for the third time to raise money for charity. In June 2026, we will be taking on the Abergavenny Three Peaks Walk in support of the Velindre Cancer Centre.

At the Gwent IR Unit, we care for patients using minimally invasive image-guided treatments, including procedures that support people living with cancer. Mermaid Medical plays an important role in helping teams like ours by providing high-quality equipment that enables us to deliver safe and effective care. Through our partnership, we share a commitment to supporting patients both inside and outside the hospital.

JiBy taking on this challenge together, we hope to raise vital funds for the Velindre Cancer Centre, which provides exceptional care, treatment, and support to patients and families affected by cancer. This is a cause that means a great deal to us, and we are grateful for any donation, large or small, to help support their incredible work.
