Story
In April 2024, we experienced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our dear friend and colleague, Andy Tibbs, to meningitis.
Andy was one in a million. He was always there to offer advice, support, and an encouraging word. Since then, we’ve been continually reminded of the hole he leaves in the team, with the question “What would Andy do?” often asked.
Clearly, the loss of Andy goes far beyond Acacium Group to his wonderful family and friends. Whilst we miss him hugely, we are acutely aware of the loss felt by his amazing wife Karen and his two incredible children. No family should ever have to lose their Andy.
To honour Andy’s memory and raise awareness about this silent and swift disease, Acacium Group are proud to support Meningitis Now, a remarkable organisation dedicated to funding crucial research, offering support to patients and their families, and educating the public about meningitis.
As part of this commitment, a team from Acacium Group will be taking on the Windsor Ultra Challenge on 18th April 2026, raising vital funds for Meningitis Now and continuing to honour Andy’s memory in a way that reflects his spirit, resilience, and the incredible impact he had on all of us.
We ask for your support in this endeavour. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your generosity will not only pay tribute to Andy’s life but will also provide hope and support to countless others who may be affected by this terrible disease in the future.
