Support Mark’s Fundraiser:
Transform Lives with ABC of Opera in partnership with The Philanthropy Foundation
Thank you for visiting ABC of Opera’s fundraising page.
I want to share our inspiring 10-year journey of ABC of Opera and why we urgently need your support to continue this life-changing work.
What started as a bold idea in 2016 has grown into over 300 workshops, stage shows, books, and teaching resources that have profoundly impacted the lives of young learners. Until now, we have been completely self-funded, but we need your help to keep going.
Our Goal: £15,000

Our Mission
Enhance Engagement: Bring subjects like geography, history, music, and relationships to life.
Support Development: Foster social and communication skills.
Inclusive Environment: Cater to the needs of each child, regardless of their educational or cultural background.

Success Stories
Case Study 1: Building Confidence in Autistic Students
School: Ysgol Y Deri
Student: 13-year-old with Autism and sound sensitivity
Challenge: Refusal to attend large group activities due to sound sensitivity
Initially too sensitive to join group activities, the young student began by listening to ABC of Opera sessions from outside the door. Gradually, he moved closer until he fully participated with the group. No other provider has achieved such results.
ABC of Opera uniquely engages and enchants pupils, reaching even those who usually don't participate.
Case Study 2: Enhancing Curriculum Engagement
School: Monkton Priory Community School, Pembrokeshire
Challenge: Low engagement in school
Outcome: 80% increase in student engagement
ABC's workshops in this school, which serves a permanent Gypsy Roma encampment in one of the most deprived areas in Wales, provided a safe space that fostered trust and enhanced learning. Staff and pupils were amazed by the rapid and fun learning experience.
