This September, several members of our team will be running Chase the Sun Battersea 5K/10K to fundraise for Solace, a specialist charity in the UK supporting women and children experiencing domestic abuse and sexual violence.

Whatever form violence comes in, from rape to trafficking to relationships based on psychological or financial control, Solace work to end it. Escaping the effects of violence can be hard, which is why the lifesaving support that Solace provides to nearly 30,000 women, children and young people each year is so important. The cost of living crisis is greatly affecting survivors of domestic abuse which is why Solace need our support now more than ever.

Solace's aim is to work to prevent violence and abuse as well as providing services to meet the individuals needs of survivors, particularly women and children. Their work takes many forms and amongst other services they are proud to offer:

> Help to women and their children fleeing from abuse to a safe location in one of their 22 refuge sites

> Guidance through court cases and pre- and post- court counselling for survivors seeking justice so they may be supported on every step of their journey to recovery

> Education in schools to inspire the next wave of young campaigners and encourage healthy relationships and the rejection of toxic stereotypes

> Specialist support and confidential information to survivors through their advice line or rape crisis services
