The Alcester Community Fridge (ACF) marked its first year of operation in Summer 2023. Every week hundreds of Alcester people are able to benefit from the work of our 40+ volunteers who prevent good food from being thrown away just because it's approaching its sell-by or best-before date.
The Fridge costs about £12000 a year to run, covering the costs of our coordinators, electricity for the fridges, repairs and equipment for the shed etc. That's just £32 per day. Can you help us by donating a day's worth of support? And if that's too much, any amount you offer will be used directly for the ACF.
Anyone can visit us - come and sample some of our amazing produce - and it's all free!
