At Acorn Occupational Health, we are dedicated to supporting the health and wellbeing of employees across the UK. We work closely with businesses to provide expert occupational health services, helping individuals thrive in the workplace through assessments, support programs, and proactive health initiatives. But our commitment to wellbeing extends beyond the workplace—we also believe in giving back to the wider community and making a meaningful difference where it’s needed most.

That’s why, this year, we are proud to be fundraising for Dementia UK — a cause that is incredibly close to our hearts.

Dementia UK is a specialist dementia nursing charity that provides life-changing advice and support to anyone affected by dementia, whenever it is needed. The charity's specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, work towards a day where no one has to face dementia alone.

At Acorn Occupational Health, we see firsthand the impact that health conditions can have on individuals, families, and workplaces. By supporting Dementia UK, we hope to play a small part in helping those affected receive the vital care, resources, and support they deserve.

How We're Making a Difference

This year, we’re taking on a team fitness challenge to raise funds and awareness. Our employees will be working together across four categories—cycling, swimming, running, and steps—to log as much distance as possible while promoting the importance of health and wellbeing. In addition, we’ll be participating in sponsored events throughout the year to boost our fundraising efforts.
