On 25 May 2024 ACP will be undertaking a 32kms Walking Challenge to coincide with Mental Health Awareness Week taking place across the nation this month (13–19 May). Movement is a powerful tool for boosting mental health and general wellbeing.

We are fundraising for the LifeHouse, a charity dedicated to helping local homeless and under-housed individuals, some of whom are battling addiction, poor mental health, and poverty. The support they provide, including free hot meals, food and clothes banks, counselling services, and rehabilitation courses, is invaluable. Currently, they are working on upgrading their meeting room to better serve those in need. This room provides a private space for counselling sessions, advice on benefits, support with healthcare services and treatments such as hairdressing and foot-care.

Our goal is to raise £1,000 to create a multifunctional room that effectively accommodates all these essential services. Your support means the world to us and will make a real difference in the lives of those who rely on the LifeHouse's vital assistance.
