Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page supporting the Isle of Wight Charity Ability Dogs 4 Young People.

This amazing charity was specifically set up in 2012 to train assistance dogs to enhance the independence of disabled young people and children living on the Isle of Wight. They are training Ability Dogs to help with physical and mental disabilities, including cerebral palsy, autism, diabetes and epilepsy, to see the results is amazing.

Mark Brownjohn, senior Director of Seafields Estate Agents will be stepping aboard Roxy, a 12 man rowing boat designed and built by Rannoch Adventures to undertake a TransAtlantic crossing rowing from Tenerife to Antigua.

This epic voyage of 3000 miles will take anywhere between 38-45 days at sea, eating, sleeping, and rowing continually in 3 hour shifts, and we would like to take this opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Ability Dogs to enable them to carry on their fantastic work on the Isle of Wight.
