Active Blaby take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks

Yorkshire Three Peaks 2025 · 3 May 2025 ·
Raising funds for a vital mission, the Physical Activity and Health Team from Blaby District Council (Or as you may know us, Active Blaby) will be bravely taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge to raise much needed funds for the Air Ambulance Service. Our determined group will be conquering Pen-y-Gant, Whernside and Ingleborough on the 5th of April 2025- navigating 24 miles and ascending more than 5,200 feet within a 12 hour time frame!
This demanding trek through the Yorkshire dales will put our stamina, fitness and mental determination to the test (as well as our co-worker relationships), but, we will be driven to complete our challenge in order to help support the critical lifesaving operations performed daily by the Air Ambulance crews.
The Air Ambulance is supported by Blaby District Council and is the chosen charity of our chairman, Nick Chapman. Every penny raised will support the Air Ambulance Service to provide crucial medical care to those in need across Leicestershire and Rutland, as well as the national paediatric and neonatal transfer service, the Children’s Air Ambulance, covering the whole of the UK.
Please support the Active Blaby Team as we lace up our boots and get ready for this demanding yet extremely rewarding challenge!
