Acuity Law's Take on the Three Peaks Challenge · 7 June 2024

We offer grants to young people aged 15-35 in Wales who have been diagnosed with cancer. The grants help pay for petrol, wigs, bills and childcare. We believe that the cost of living with cancer is too high and nobody going through so much should have to worry about these things x diolch x

Story

In support of Mental Health Awareness Week, Acuity Law is tackling its own version of the Welsh Three Peaks Challenge on 7 June 2024.

To keep the challenge low emissions and environmentally friendly, our three peaks are focused locally in the Brecon Beacons (now officially known as Bannau Brycheiniog):

- Llyn Y Fan Fach

- Sugar Loaf

- Pen Y Fan

Our Acuity team’s chosen charity is the Sir Gareth Edwards Cancer Charity who provide financial support to those young people aged 15-35 living in Wales and have been diagnosed with cancer. The charity acknowledge that between the ages of 15-35 some of the most pivotal moments in life take place, which can take on a toll on anyone’s mental health, let alone when also having been diagnosed with cancer. The charity seeks to assist those struggling to pay costs caused by their diagnosis with the aim to minimize the additional stresses and difficulties faced in light of an already challenging period of life.

We have set a fundraising target of £1,000 and would be grateful for any donations to kick start fundraising.
