Lee and Adam are on the RUST BUCKET RALLY in JUNE!

This is the twelfth running of this unique event, driving over 2,500 miles in ~£1000 ‘Rust Bucket’ cars, not for the faint hearted!

The Rust Bucket Rally has already raised nearly £600,000 pounds for 12 local charities and this June charity will be Petals!

Petals, the baby loss counselling charity provide specialist counselling services that are life-changing for parents who have suffered the devastating loss of a pregnancy or death of a baby. We know that these tragic experiences not only result in grief but also in trauma and the stretched NHS does not provide consistent counselling for BOTH parents.

Petals work with some NHS trusts to fill this gap, but some trusts Northampton in particular, do not, leaving parents to cope alone. This was the experience of our close friends Pete and Rosie, being left to their own devices, after their devasting loss and uncaring NHS experience. Only offering counselling some months after and even then only to Rosie. We are grateful for Petals providing their charity funded services in Northampton to help provide the tools to start processing their loss and to guide them to a place of hope.

Supporting this challenge you will be helping to deliver more vital counselling sessions to bereaved parents and enable Petals to turn less parents away due to funding shortages.
