Adam's story - The MS BIG LEAP SKYDIVE:
As most of you know, my amazing dad, Richard, has multiple sclerosis, a progressive, auto-immune disorder that has left him with both visible and non-visible cognitive and physical disabilities. He was diagnosed 9 years ago and as a family, we have missed out doing a lot of 'normal' things people take for granted.
I feel privileged to be able to do a skydive to raise money not only for the MS Society for research, but also for the Bedford MS Centre which he attends weekly This has been an absolute 'life saver' for him, providing much needed therapies for his disabilities. However, it costs them £1400 PER DAY - yes PER DAY, to keep open and they receive no government funding!!
You're more than welcome to come and watch my skydive if you'd like to - it's in Brackley, Northants on Sunday 1st June, but if not, please please consider giving to these 2 great causes on behalf of my dad. HERE IS THE LINK TO MY JUSTGIVING PAGE: (can be anonymous giving)
Thank you so so much in advance, and I'll update with photos of the day, I can't wait!!!
