Story

My youngest son George was diagnosed with Becker Muscular Dystrophy in 2017. BMD is a rare and progressive muscle wasting condition that has no cure. The severity and timeline of the condition can vary, but unfortunately the headline symptoms are a decline in mobility typically requiring wheelchair use and reduced life expectancy due to heart and lung function.

Whilst George has had to give up activities he enjoyed like football, swimming, and uses his wheelchair on a daily basis when his muscles get painful and tired, as a 12 year old he does have time on his side and who knows what medical breakthroughs there will be as he gets older - especially if more research can be funded!

Monies raised will go to Muscular Dystrophy UK to fund research into curing Muscular Dystrophy. Thank you for any sponsorship you can provide 👍
