Adam & Meg's 100 Mile Run · 26 July 2025

The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.

Story

Hello all,

I am writing to inform you that me and my sister (Meg Boydell) will be running and cycling (respectively) 100 miles down the Leeds to Liverpool canal for the Mental Health foundation. Both myself and Meg work very closely with children that suffer from extremely poor mental health, some of whom have unfortunately taken their own lives alongside having many friends and people known to us suffering through similar circumstances.

Mental health challenges are more common than we admit to or talk about, and I want this run to spark conversation, raise awareness, and ultimately bring in vital funds for those who need support the most and often feel like they’re fighting silent battles alone.

So if I can please ask for your help in giving anything you see fit to this cause, it would be more than appreciated, as we all need help at some point in our lives — and your support could be the light someone needs in their darkest moment. Thank you, truly, for standing with me and Meg and supporting a cause that matters to so many, and if you ever find yourself struggling, please take action and get the help you need.

Best wishes,

Adam Boydell
