Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in a 2 day 110Km Ultra marathon in Wales to raise money for North East Lincolnshire's Admiral Nurses who work with the Gardiner Hill Foundation.

The event is approximately 60km on the first day and 50km on the second day and encompasses over 14,000ft of climbing over the 2 days. To put that in perspective it is the equivalent of doing the UK 3 peaks but running up Ben Nevis twice or half the height of Mount Everest. This will be the longest, steepest and dare I say hardest run I have ever attempted.

Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia mental health nurses who work in the community with family carers of people who have any type of dementia at any age.

I have personally seen the amazing work these nurses do to help support families through what is an incredibly difficult time where they are slowly losing their loved ones. If you can spare anything towards this amazing cause - please donate now

Many Thanks Adam

This is for you Dennis, you will be missed xx
