Story
1st November marks 28 years of being a Type 1 diabetic so I felt this fundraiser came at a good time.
The challenge is “62 Miles in October” which can be ran, walked or jogged to help raise vital funds to help continue to support those living and affected by diabetes.
Cutting a long story very short, I had a herniated disc in my neck in December and I am still not allowed to run or put any excessive pressure through my body so I thought this could be a good opportunity to get going again by walking the 62 miles for a charity that means a lot to me.
I have set myself a target of £930.00 (£15.00 per mile) which I am sure will motivate me to get this done! If you would like to donate anything at all to this, I would appreciate it so much.
Thank you very much in advance 😊
