Shortly after giving birth to our daughter, my wife was diagnosed with Meningitis and spent almost 2 weeks in hospital. She was very unwell and continued to suffer from the side effects for another 6 months. I am running the 2025 Great North Run because I want to raise awareness for Meningitis and support more research into the condition.
