I’m running my first 10k in support of Malaria Consortium, one of the world’s most effective global health charities.

Malaria Consortium works across Africa and Asia to prevent, control, and treat malaria and other childhood illnesses. Its evidence-driven programmes — including Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention (SMC), recommended by GiveWell as one of the most cost-effective ways to save lives — protect millions of children each year.

I’ve been training since August to get from zero to completing this 10k.
