Adam's Ultra Marathon Challenge for Lancashire Mind

Adam Cook is raising money for Lancashire Mind
In memory of John

Lakeland Trails Ultra 2025 · 12 July 2025 ·

We are more than a mental health charity. We're a passionate movement leading the mental wellbeing revolution in Lancashire. We campaign to make your mental wellbeing a local priority, and help you find the tools you need to manage, maintain and improve your mental wellbeing.

Story

I will be taking on the Lakeland Trails 100km Ultra Marathon to raise money for Lancashire Mind in loving memory of my cousin John.

I want to raise awareness of men's mental health and the importance of talking to your friends and family when you are finding times difficult.

Lancashire Mind is a fantastic local charity and all donations will go back into local communities to help Lancashire people when they need it.

The reason I am aiming to raise £1000 is that this total can provide a child with six sessions of 1:1 wellbeing coaching, an adult with a course of therapy, and workshops for parents/caregivers to better understand their child's mental health.

In preparation for this event I will also be taking part in the following races;

Leighton Hall Trail Half Marathon 22/03/2025

Rivington Backyard Ultra 12/04/2025

Ullswater Way Ultra 24/05/2025

If you can spare some money to donate to Lancashire Mind I would be eternally grateful.
