I'm Running the French Riviera Marathon for Blood Cancer UK
This November, I’m taking on the French Riviera Marathon from Nice to Cannes to raise money for Blood Cancer UK — a cause that’s incredibly close to my heart.
My grandad, Eddie Woolner, is currently living with fibrotic myelodysplasia, a rare form of blood cancer. Watching him navigate the daily challenges these conditions bring has shown me just how vital research, support, and medical progress are for patients and their families. This run is my way of doing something (however small) to help.
Blood Cancer UK is a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. Since 1960, they've invested over £500 million into life-saving research, transforming treatments and improving survival rates. Today, they’re funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are working tirelessly to find the next breakthrough. Their mission is bold but within reach: to beat blood cancer for good.
By supporting this campaign, you're not just backing my marathon — you're helping fund the science and care that can change lives.
Please donate what you can — and thank you for being part of this journey with me.
