On 9th June 2023, we lost our best mate, Chris Moran, in a tragic road traffic accident. Chris was someone who meant so much to many- a loyal friend, a big character, and someone who brought people together wherever he went. His loss has left a huge hole in all of our lives.

On Saturday 6th June 2026, in his memory, me and my mate Sam will be running a marathon from Wakefield to Elland Road, finishing at Ossett Tigers Rugby Club. This run is for Chris-to honour his memory, celebrate his life, and channel our grief into something positive. Every mile we run is for Chris, and every donation will help make a difference in his name.

We are raising money for SCARD, a charity that supports families who have lost loved ones in road traffic accidents. The support they provide is invaluable during the most difficult times, and we hope to help them continue their important work.

Every donation, no matter how small, means a lot to us and will go towards helping others facing the same heartbreak.
