Story
Today marks one year since I said goodbye to my left testicle following the shock diagnosis of testicular cancer. A “routine” scan for what I thought was my recurring hernia lead to being told I had testicular cancer. Two weeks later I was in the operating theatre , then 4 months later I was told I was cancer free. Thanks to the fast acting, amazing NHS and staff at Weston Park Hospital Sheffield.
To raise awareness of testicular cancer and give back for the superb care I was given, I’m walking 100 km in May in aid of Oddballs Foundation. I hope you’re able to support me with my fundraising efforts. Every donation is sincerely appreciated.
Testicular Cancer is the most common cancer to affect men between the ages of 15-49. However, if detected early, Testicular Cancer is one of the most curable cancers.
Help me raise awareness of Testicular Cancer to breakdown the stigma associated with the disease and to encourage more young men to CHECK themselves on a monthly basis, and in doing so detect any problems early.
