Our #FightingForce Team are taking on the world's greatest half marathon to help find a cure for brain tumours.

Story

In September 2022 I was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Astrocytoma Brain Tumor, I have had 2 crainiotomies 32 rounds of radio therapy and multiple different rounds and types of chemotherapy yet my condition is still uncurable.

Please Help me to turn my diagnosis into Hope for myself and others!

One in three people in the UK knows someone affected by a brain tumour. This disease is indiscriminate; it can affect anyone at any age. Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease since records began in 2002.

Brain Tumour Research is determined to change this. It is the only national charity focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. Help fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.

I chose this event to use as my goal because as a child I used to visit Southshield on holiday with my grandma who passed away last year and I always told her that i'd running this one day! there's no better time than the present, if the last 3 and a half years has taught me anything its don't put off something because you never know what tomorrow could bring!
