Matt & James Tallon's fundraiser in memory of Adam Green

Blenheim Palace Triathlon 2025 · 7 June 2025 to 8 June 2025 · Start fundraising for this event
We're raising money for Lawrence Nurses, who provided incredible care and support to Adam Green, and his family, during their most difficult times.
Anyone who knew Adam will remember his love for cycling and his kind, supportive nature. Even during his own battle, Adam found the time and energy to cheer my brother James and I on twice (2023 & 2024) at the Blenheim Triathlon - turning up with wine, beers and homemade scones at the finish line!
This year, we’re racing in his honour and to support the Lawrence Nurses at the request of Adam's wife Jo.
Your donation will go to a brilliant cause, so please give whatever you can.
Background on the charity:
Lawrence Nurses have cared for over 1300 patients in Oxfordshire; a team of 18 registered nurses provide palliative care free of charge to people in their home.
Local GP Dr Martin Lawrence's dying wish was that patients in his practice should be able to die at home; his wish was made a reality through the work of District Nurse Jane Phillips MBE.
The service has grown and now provides free, hospice at home care covering five Oxfordshire GP practices.
Our vision is a community where every person has access to free, hospice care at home.
