Story

My wife Sarah, the mother of my 3 children Luke, Joel and Lois has devastatingly been diagnosed with this incredibly cruel disease.

I’m raising some funds for the Motor Neurone Disease Association by taking on the London Marathon in April 2024.

I’ve been very fortunate to have won a ballot place through the company I work for (Diligenta who are owned by the sponsors of the London Marathon - TCS). So there is no set target to achieve, only what you can afford to donate as I know many of you have already given very generously to other events that people are doing or have done in Sarah’s name - thank you so much for this 🙏🏼

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a progressive disease that attacks the motor neurones, or nerves, in the brain and spinal cord. This means messages gradually stop reaching muscles, which leads to weakness and wasting.

MND can affect how you walk, talk, eat, drink and breathe. However, not all symptoms necessarily happen to everyone and it is unlikely they will all develop at the same time, or in any specific order.

Although there is currently no cure for MND, symptoms can be managed to help you achieve the best possible quality of life.

Thank you for reading this and thank you all for the support and love you have shown Sarah, me and our children through this awful time

Adam 💙🧡
