People who know me, know that I get pride and joy out of helping others.

I have decided to help others by supporting a charity which does amazing work and supports so many people in our region and has helped me as well.

The charity I have decided to support is Tyneside Mind, due to my own experience of depression.

Depression is a life-crippling, sometimes fatal condition that destroys lives. But it is treatable. Tyneside Mind provide information and services that can change, and save, lives.

I would love people to be able to donate to this great cause and support the work they provide.

So what have I decided to do?

Well, what I have decided is something similar to the ice bucket challenge, with a little bit of a twist, as I normally volunteer at a heritage railway to help them.

I will be standing under a railway water crane and get soaked for Tyneside Mind, video will be provided also for any who can't attend to see the live action, but another thing I will be adding myself is that all public donators will be entered into a number picked prize draw, the winner gets the privilege of turning on the water, and soaking me, just for their own enjoyment.

I am planning to do this on the 28th March before the railway opens to the public and gets busy running trains.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for any support you can offer, whether that’s donating and/or sharing the page.
