Story
I am running the Nottingham Robin Hood half marathon on 24th September for Emmanuel House, who support people who are homeless, rough sleeping, in crisis, or at risk of homelessness in Nottingham.
Their purpose is to tackle isolation, vulnerability and homelessness within our community by providing an inclusive, compassionate service to people who need help, whether it’s providing brief reassurance or more in-depth and prolonged support.
I work in Nottingham and have seen first hand the rise in homelessness, which is so sad to see. However I am aware of the great work that Emmanuel House does.
My property lettings sector business has a link with housing / homelessness . The current cost of living and housing crisis we have is fueling more homelessness sadly. I hope the funds I raise can go towards helping local people.
