This will be our 4th year taking on various golf challenges, the first 2 years we did the 72 hole challenge, last year we did 100 holes in the day (stupid) this year we are doing 90 holes in the day (5 rounds) each year choosing a different charity, over the last 3 years we have raised almost £5000 for the various charities, this year we have decided to raise money for The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS), who rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 2,083 call outs in 2024 alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.

Tony, Chris (Bigman) and I will be once again doing this challenge at Appleby golf club, who we must thank for supporting us so well over the last few years.

Chis has said this is the last time he is doing it so please help us raise as much money as we can, although Chris did say after the first year he was never doing it again!!!
