London to Brighton Cycle September · 15 September 2024 ·

The London to Brighton Cycle is back and we are looking to go bigger than ever. The largest ever number of Team Bowel Cancer UK cyclists are coming together with one aim - a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer.

Story

It's been 6 years since we lost my wonderful mum Valerie Lamprell to Bowel Cancer.

We all miss her dearly and I felt like its time to take on a challenge in her memory and raise money for a cause dear to her and our hearts.

She was at the finish line the last time I did a L2B in 2017 for the British Heart Foundation, in memory of my nan cheering me on during her chemotherapy. So I wanted to do something for her that she would be proud of.

We also lost Tanias lovely nan Ruth to Bowel Cancer in 2009. She had such a positive influence of love and affection on everyone around her and is deeply missed. I am sure she would have supported me all the way!

On 15th September, the route takes on 55 miles from Clapham Common down to the coast in Brighton. Taking on the massive Ditchling Beacon.....

Please give whatever you can, even a little will be truly appreciated.

See you on the south coast in September!
