Adam’s fundraiser for Autism Action

Anna Lewy is raising money for Autism Action

Sponsored Walk

Autism Action commissions breakthrough research, working with the world's leading academics, including Cambridge University's Autism Research Centre. By bringing that together with the real-life experiences of autistic people, we're building evidence that can't be ignored.

Story

This September, Adam is walking 48 kilometres to raise funds for Autism Action.

Adam's journey to this challenge is truly inspiring. Adam is severely autistic and non-verbal. As a child, he was a late walker and initially his parents were told he might never walk. Through years of physiotherapy and swim therapy, and despite multiple knee dislocations, Adam has not only learned to walk but found his passion in it.

Walking in the forest with his family is Adam's sanctuary – a peaceful space where he can simply be himself. By supporting Adam's 48km challenge, you are celebrating his remarkable personal journey whilst helping to fund Autism Action’s vital work.
