Brighton Marathon 2024 · 7 April 2024 ·

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For some strange reason my brother and I have decided to run the Brighton Marathon in April 2024. Despite both of us finding very little joy from running, I would love to use the opportunity to raise some money for a charity close to our hearts.

In 2015 we lost our Papa after his battle with vascular dementia. The money raised would be used to help Alzheimers Scotland maintain their services for those suffering by aid of helplines, online one-to-one sessions, vital research, community hubs and much more. These services help not only those suffering from Alzheimers/Dementia but the families that support and care for the individual.

Any donation is greatly appreciated and will go towards a great cause.

Thanks!

Adam
