Story

On May 25th, I will be running my first marathon in Edinburgh. I will be raising money for Alder Hey Children’s Charity, who help support the continuing developments at their children’s hospital and healthcare campuses.

Alder Hey Children’s Hospital provides crucial treatment, care and support to thousands of children and young people every year. This ranges from the treatment of common illness, providing mental health support, bereavement support for families going through unimaginably hard times, and highly complex life saving treatment and care.

Your donation would help fund world class equipment that helps save lives and provides the best treatment possible. It will help continue developments of the facilities at Alder Hey Hospital, which will help create a comfortable environment for patients and families. Donations allow for advanced research and innovation, as well as creating magic moments through play specialists, resources, arts and craft materials, and toys to allow children to enjoy their stay at Alder Hey as best as they can. Alder Hey do so much to provide amazing treatment and care for so many children to give them their childhood back, enhance lives and create bright and healthy futures.

Thank you!
