Story
I’ll be taking on my biggest running challenge yet by completing a half marathon in support of ECHO.
I’m raising money for ECHO because the work they do means a great deal to my family. My son, Jacob, was born with a heart condition and underwent treatment at the Evelina. Thankfully, he’s doing incredibly well, but we know first hand how important it is to have support during such a worrying time.
ECHO provides emotional and practical support to children and young people receiving treatment for heart conditions at Evelina London, the Royal Brompton Hospital and their network of local hospitals. They help families while their child is in hospital and continue to be there as children grow up, creating a community where families can find guidance, reassurance and support from others who truly understand.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps ECHO continue the incredible work they do for families like ours.
Thank you so much for your support. It genuinely means a lot.
