On Saturday 13 September 2025 I’ll be attempting The Lap, a 47 mile ultramarathon around Lake Windermere, in support of The Boathouse Youth charity.

The Boathouse Youth provides amazing facilities for young people aged 5 to 17, from less-privileged communities in Blackpool and across the Fylde Coast.

They provide a safe space to improve mental well-being, promote positive behaviour, support educational growth and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Their services are free for young people to access, thanks to the generous support of patrons and donors.
