Story
Hi, My name is Adam and I am Raising money for Amnesty International by trekking the Morocco High Atlas Challenge. I am Currently an accounting, derby Uni student who has been provided the opportunity to raise money for such an important cause in the current world.
For this Trek I will be trekking 41.01 miles across 6 days in Morocco high Atlas Mountains.
Amnesty International is a movement of ordinary people from across the world standing up for humanity and human rights. When injustice happens to one person, it happens to us all. Raising for this charity means so much to me because in a world where there is so much hate and unjust, they provide a light in places and people that struggle to see it... And everyone deserves a chance.
Recent campaigns include refugee and migrant rights, climate change, children's rights, women's rights, Syrian conflict and LGBTI rights. Amnesty's biggest achievements include outlawing torture, holding war criminals to account and controlling the arms trade.
Money which you give will be used to help fund for research to expose hidden hum rights abuses, to funding vital activism and campaigns so people in power can be challenged.
