Finally after 24 years of ballot applications and no success, yes started applying for a place when I was 18! I will be 42 when I finally make it to the start line in April!

I was given the opportunity to support the our Hospice by taking on this challenge. The hospice sector is facing a deficit in the UK of £77 million pounds and £16 million in Scotland! St Columba's receives around 25% of the funding need via the Government meaning that the remaining 75% has to be fundraised through a combination of public support and income generation via the charity shop offering.

So I need your help to raise £3000 for brilliant organisation that is supporting people with life-limiting illnesses and their families!

St Columba’s Hospice Care provides palliative and end-of-life care for people with life-limiting illnesses and their families. We’re an independent charity at the heart of our local community and have been offering free, flexible and person-centred care and support to our patients and their families for over 40 years.
