Sailing solo around the world in a 19ft self built boat

Each day, 13 young people aged 15–29 hear the devastating words: “You have cancer.” Beyond treatment, many face emotional, physical, social, and practical challenges. We provide personalised mental and physical health and wellbeing support to help young people navigate life with and beyond cancer

Story

Embarking on a remarkable journey, I have built a 19ft boat to sail solo around the world in the inaugural Mini Globe Race. This adventure is not just about the thrill of sailing; it is a heartfelt mission to raise funds for the incredible Ella Dawson Foundation. This family-run charity is dedicated to supporting young adults and their families who are facing the challenges of cancer.

As I set out on this personal challenge, I am reminded of the strength and resilience that those battling cancer exhibit every day. The Ella Dawson Foundation provides vital support, resources, and hope to those in need, making a profound difference in their lives. It is my honour to advocate for this cause and help shine a light on their invaluable work.

I invite you to join me on this journey by contributing to my fundraising goal of £100,000. Your generous support will directly impact the lives of young adults fighting cancer and their families. Together, we can make waves of change and bring hope where it is needed most.
