This will be my first marathon! I'm running to celebrate:

- Celebrate being back where I belong, in the beautiful Highlands!

- Celebrate the absolutely awe-inspiring organisation I work for, Connecting Carers. This team is absolutely second to none, and I'm always surprised by their dedication to always answer the call (figuratively and literally).

- Celebrate all the unpaid carers of the Highlands who get up every day and do something more impressive than some marathon.

This will also be a VEGAN marathon for me, so in putting myself at a bit of a stats disadvantage, I'm celebrating non-human animals and their rights.

I hope you'll help me raise some money for CC in the process, it would really help light a fire under me. Thanks! :o)
