Story
In 2025 we lost our Grandma Tracy, who was well loved by all and was well supported in her final days by Moya Cole Hospice (at the time known as St Ann's Hospice).
Grandma Tracy was one of three people waiting for me, cheering me on as I dragged myself across the line at my first Manchester half marathon. It seems only right I would run Manchester again in her name.
I'm running in Memory of Tracy Lavelle, raising money for Moya Cole Hospice at the Great Manchester Run 2026! May 31st 2026.
I'm aiming to raise £300 to support Moya Cole.
About Moya Cole Hospice:
An amazing cause that provides incredible care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and supports their families and carers across Greater Manchester.
With only a third of their funding being provided by the NHS, Moya Cole Hospice needs to raise £20,000 each day to provide essential services and compassionate care.
£10.85 could help to continue providing TVs and WiFi for inpatients to enjoy during their stay.
£20.60 could pay for a hand or foot massage with one of their therapists to help a patient or carer relax.
£30.60 could pay for a bereavement session for a loved one with their specialist team.
Thank you for your support!
