Story
I am attempting a remarkable feat: my very first ultra marathon, the Windsor 50 km on 18 April 2026, and the London Marathon just a week later on 26 April. I am doing both for Brooke, the charity that has been looking after the world’s hardest-working horses, donkeys and mules for over 90 years.
I am going to hurt a lot on 18 April and again on 26 April, but that pain is temporary and entirely my choice. For millions of working equines, the pain is every single day and they have no choice at all.
So please, if you have ever loved a horse, patted a donkey on a beach, or just believe no animal should work in pain, dig deep and sponsor me. Your donation will give me the fuel I need to reach those finish lines and, far more importantly, it will give a horse, donkey or mule a life worth living.
Brookes Info:
Brooke, Action For Working Horses and Donkeys is the world’s largest working equine welfare organisation. We make both immediate and long-term changes to transform the health and welfare of hardworking horses, donkeys and mules to give them a life worth living.
