Story
Hi, I’m Adam Dennett, Worshipful Master of Carnarvon Lodge No. 2376, Province of West Lancashire.
This year, I’ve chosen St Catherine’s Hospice as our lodge charity - a place close to my heart. They cared for my beloved grandad in his final months, giving him and our family support, dignity, and peace when it mattered most. He was a proud Freemason, and I know he’d be smiling at what I’m about to do…
Despite not being the best with heights (read: absolutely terrified!), I’ve signed up to throw myself out of a plane at 11,000 feet in a tandem skydive to raise vital funds for St Catherine’s.
It costs more than £5 million every year to run their services, and they rely on people like us to make sure those facing cancer, motor neurone disease, and other life-shortening conditions get the care they need -whether at the hospice or in their own homes.
I’m hoping to raise at least £1,000 to say thank you and support their incredible mission. Every donation - big or small - brings us closer to that goal and keeps this vital service available for our community.
So, if you’ve ever wanted to see a Worshipful Master fall from the sky (safely, I hope!), this is your chance! Please donate if you can, and help spread the word.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart - and from 11,000 feet above Lancashire!
