Story
In April, I’ll be taking on the London Marathon (My first ever marathon) with one mission: to raise £2,500 for Step by Step, an incredible charity that supports vulnerable young people facing homelessness and adversity. - https://www.stepbystep.org.uk
Having worked with the social housing sector for over three years, I’ve seen first hand the challenges faced by those dealing with homelessness, complex issues and the lack of stable support networks. I’ve had the privilege of partnering with specialist housing providers and charities who work tirelessly to give young people a chance to rebuild their lives and I’ve witnessed the life changing impact that stable accommodation and the right support can have.
Many of the young people, Step by Step works with aren’t at fault for the circumstances they find themselves in. They’ve been dealt a difficult hand in life.
This is where you come in.
Your support can help provide:
* Safe accommodation through supported lodgings, supported housing, and foyer services
* Mental and emotional wellbeing support
* Counselling and personal development programmes
* A genuine second chance for young people who desperately need it
I know that £2,500 is ambitious but every pound will directly contribute to giving young people stability, safety and hope. This is a chance to make a real difference and help countless individuals rewrite their stories.
If you’re able to donate, share this page, or simply help spread the word, it would mean more than I can say. Thank you for supporting me, supporting Step by Step and supporting the young people who deserve the chance to move forward with confidence and independence.
