Throughout October 2026, I’m taking on a challenge that’s going to push me well outside my comfort zone…

500 MILES. ONE MONTH. ONE BIG GOAL. 🚴‍♂️

I’ll be cycling 500 miles throughout October as part of The Great British Property Cycle 2026, raising money in support of two incredible charities:

❤️ British Heart Foundation

❤️ Heartbeat Trust UK

Both organisations do amazing work supporting people and families affected by heart conditions, while helping fund research, care and support that can make a genuine difference to people’s lives.

Why 500 miles?

I wanted to take on something that would genuinely challenge me.

And to make things a little more difficult, I won’t be completing the challenge on a conventional bike… I’ll be doing all 500 miles on an adult tricycle! 🚲

I’m an estate agent, not a professional cyclist, so getting through 500 miles in 31 days... on three wheels, is going to take plenty of early mornings, tired legs and determination!

That works out at an average of over 16 miles every single day throughout October.

But every mile has a purpose.

I spend my working life helping people move home across our local community, and this challenge is an opportunity to use that platform to give something back.

I’ll be sharing updates throughout October — the good rides, the difficult ones, the mileage and probably a fair amount of complaining along the way!

My target is simple:

500 miles by 31st October.
