Story
We are running the Reading Half Marathon to raise funds to support a new minibus for Addington Special School based in Woodley and Farley Hill.
Several staff from Addington School are running the Reading Half Marathon on Sunday 22nd March, to raise money for the Addington Association. This money will go towards our new minibus fund. Accessible minibuses allow of the pupils at Addington opportunities to explore their local community. They are an essential part of the curriculum at Addington for pupils of all ages: from termly trips to Thames Valley Adventure Playground in the Early Years department, to a huge range of community enrichment opportunities in Key Stages 2 and 3 and preparation for adulthood experiences and essential work based learning opportunities in Key Stage 4 and The Sixth Form. We currently have 5 minibuses to enable all of these essential opportunities to happen, unfortunately one of the buses needs replacing.
Please support us to raise as much money as possible to support our pupils to get a new minibus.
Many thanks
The Addington Staff Team
