Hey everyone! Most of you know about my ovarian cancer diagnosis and the difficulties I have encountered along the way. As, I am gearing up to start my 1st chemo session on 20th August I'm also gearing up for the September Steps Challenge 2024, I wanted to share my excitement and determination with you. This walk means so much to me as it represents our collective commitment to making a real difference. Throughout September (and maybe into the coming months) I'll be lacing up my shoes and setting off on a journey towards positive change. The plan is to do 10,000 steps per day throughout September but as my chemo starts, I'm not sure how it will affect me, so without putting too much pressure on myself in September, i'm just going to do a total of 30 days - however long that takes me. It might be a month, it might be 3 months but I will achieve it. My goal is to raise £200+ for this noble cause, and every step I take brings us closer to achieving it.
